Resthill Elderly Care | Introduction 2011
It is indeed my pleasure to communicate with you and to share our new elderly care facility with special focus on Dementia and Alzheimer’s disease care.
Having been with Vista Clinic for the past 22 years since 1988, initially as registered psychiatric nurse and for the past 15 years the 1st marketing officer - I could not turn my back on my passion for psychology, psychiatry and our elderly after my resignation during 2010.
Considering the statement that there are more than 36 million people with dementia worldwide and that the number will rise to over 115 million by 2050, Resthill Elderly Care goes beyond what you might expect to provide elderly and their families with peace of mind that they are receiving the best possible care. Essential standards of quality – covering areas such as elder safety, comfort, nutrition, medicines management, dignity and respect at all times is key to our services.
Resthill Elderly Care is pure luxury country living on 3 ha centrally situated between Sandton [27.1km], Midrand [17.1km], Centurion [21.4km] and Pretoria [33.1km]. Landmarks are the multi-award winning Ernie Else golf course and residential estate at Gardner Ross, with Lanseria Airport [23.8km] and Heron Bridge College close by.
We have already submitted our registration application with the Department of Social Development, as required in accordance with the Older Persons Act and are awaiting their inspection.
