In light of September being World Alzheimer’s Month, CPOA’s Alzheimer’s Awareness Seminar is the perfect opportunity for those who have a loved one who has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia to better understand the illness and the various aspects involved. Taking place at CPOA's Sea Point Place, the seminar will offer informative talks from guest speakers, including medical professionals and representatives of Alzheimer’s South Africa, Dementia SA and Dementia Connections, who will touch on topics such as early warning signs, the importance of diet, and family support.
Guests will also receive a guided tour of Sea Point Place’s new Memory Care Centre and will have the opportunity to better understand CPOA's approach to specialised and tailored memory care that makes a difference.
The seminar will take place on Friday 28 September from 10:00 – 13:00.
