Elandshaven Retirement Village (Formerly Thomas Hodgson Home)

ELANDSHAVEN RETIREMENT VILLAGE (formerly Thomas Hodgson Home) is situated in the North West Province in Klerksdorp. This old Victorian-style convent was purchased by the METHODIST HOMES FOR THE AGED from the Roman Catholic Church and consists of five acres of land, a dormitory and an assembly hall. This was the start of the METHODIST HOME FOR THE AGED, which now has the vision to be a successful, caring organisation providing a balanced range of accommodation, services and opportunities for the elderly.

In today’s economic climate, the elderly are the most vulnerable and they need our ongoing support. With METHODIST HOMES FOR THE AGED mission to provide affordable, secure and caring accommodation and services to the elderly, we believe we can care for our elderly who are so dear to us, yet also so vulnerable in today’s turbulent times.

ACCOMMODATION:

Bedsitter, bachelor, one bedroom and two bedroom flats are available on a rental basis.

Rental includes cleaning service, gardening, refuse collection and security.
One meal per week is also included in the rental.
Electricity is billed according to meter readings.
