As you pass through the security gate you just  sense that home  from home environment as   you get  the smell of good home cooked food and of cookies being baked.

 WE have warm and caring qualified staff 24hours a day to look after and care, for  your loved one with dignity and respect.  A warm and caring doctor on call 24hours. A physiotherapist and wound sister is available on request if needed

There are never more than 9 people in residence at any given time due to the fact that Homeleigh haven is run by the owners on a very personal basis. Single and shared rooms no more than 2 people to a room with television in each room. all rooms are tastefully furnished, with crisp bed linen. Residents are encouraged to bring  their  own pictures and photographs to personalize their rooms.

A lovely large enclosed verandah overlooking a  pool  in a beautifully laid out garden with an abundance of bird life.  WE encourage our residents to make use of the free internet facility to chat to their families and friends in the country or abroad on Skype.

Residents gather in the lounge chatting over a cup of tea or coffee or watching   an interesting program on dstv or watching and listening to a golden oldie on a DVD.  We have a monthly gathering where family and close friends are invited to join residents for a braai or potjie to break bread with one another and also become part of our big family.

Our frail care facility is a warm  yet efficiently run unit ,  where patients are treated gently and with love. When it sadly comes to the time that someone passes away, they do so with dignity and respect with their loved ones at their side if they so wish.

The charges include full board, three hearty meals, teas and coffee, laundry, outings to do shopping.
Ladies have their hair done every day, nails painted and made to look and feel good. Men have haircuts and beard trims and also made to look and feel special.
