Palliative care is a resource for anyone living with a serious illness, such as heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease , cancer, dementia, Parkinson’s disease, and many others. Here in our Karroo Home, we cater specifically for people living with all forms of dementia and offer a complete palliative care programme to our patients. We also offer support to their families.

Conditions of application • Only applications completed in full will be considered for screening and admission to Resthill Memory Care. • Submission of an application does not guarantee residency. • All mobility apparatus must accompany the resident on admission and be clearly marked. • All applications must be accompanied by a certified medical certificate as well as a current complete script. • A screening assessment prior to admission with the nursing services manager is required. This ensures that we can provide that extra special care to the elderly person requiring residence and an opportunity for the family to have in-depth knowledge of our unique service. • Should we not have an immediate vacancy, the screening assessment can be completed and once a vacancy arises, we will immediately contact you for admission. Applicant has to be fully vaccinated pre admission.
From R25 500.00 plus 9% VAT per month. A non-refundable deposit of 50% plus 9% VAT is required pre-admission.
