JACS isn’t your average senior living situation. It’s a beautiful owner-led community home in Randpark Ridge, Johannesburg, designed for seniors who want to maintain their independence, autonomy and personal choice but also appreciate a supportive community and a helping hand. Both the Owner and Care Manager live onsite and JACS is set up to feel like a home and an extended family.
We have one upper level one bedroom suite available, along with a ground floor studio style suite. They have en-suite bathrooms and private balcony or patio areas with parking per suite available.
Our upper level suite is best suited to retirees who are still mobile, but would love to not have to worry about the humdrum of daily chores, and who would like to enjoy being looked after, while staying social within a small like-minded connected community. We are also pet friendly for those ever so special well socialised furry family members!
Monthly suite rental (including services and utilities) is costed per person depending on the suite, the range of services selected and level of care required.
The upper suite has a kitchen area, lounge area, separate bedroom with ensuite bathroom (one bedroom unit), and a lovely balcony leading off the bedroom and living room areas.
The ground floor suite is set up as a studio style with open plan bedroom and sitting area, en-suite bathroom with a shower, and a private patio area.
The following is included in our standard services levies which are part of your monthly suite rental cost:
- Access to 24/7 emergency support
- Mobile call system
- 24-hour security and CCTV monitoring
- Solar power and all utilities
- Wi-fi access throughout the home
- Weekly housekeeping, maintenance and gardening
- Laundry per week per resident
- Onsite management and maintenance team
- On premise kitchen and dining room
- Access to our homely communal hub with lounges, dining and outdoor communal areas
- Meals served in our communal dining room as per your preferred daily meal selection
- Parking bays as needed
The choices you make on the following will determine your final monthly levy:
- Level of care required:
- Low range care for independent living with emergency care
- Mid range care for during the day with assistance for daily activities
- High range care for during the day as well as at night
- Any medical conditions requiring specific management
- Number of daily meals preferred and dietary requirements
- Additional laundry, housekeeping and maintenance required

JACS is a Shared Community for Seniors with some assisted living needs and as such we would guide that our lower age limit would be around 65, however we may approve younger residents based on unique and / or exceptional circumstances. The admission process for JACs starts with a tour, followed by an assessment of your specific care needs. We work with you and your family to create a personalized care plan and determine the appropriate level of care and pricing. As we want to be able to provide this personalized tailored care JACS, we want to ensure that we have a thorough understanding of each resident and their unique needs before they move in. To facilitate this, all potential residents will need to submit a standard medical report completed by their treating physician, as well as our health and well-being questionnaire to give us as much insight as possible into your preferences and requirements. This will give us a comprehensive understanding and will enable our team to adequately meet your care and service needs. We also have some supporting documentation required such as medical aid details, valid current prescriptions for medication, details of your current physicians, personal and emergency/next of kin details.
