River Glade Retirement Village Cape Town offers Independent Living within a wonderful village setting in Parklands.
There are 92 stand-alone cottages, 14 Quad units and 42 apartments to choose from. The cottages and quads fall under a Home Owners Association and the apartments are sectional title – there are no life rights only individually owned units.
There are many options from 1 bedroom flats to 1/2/3 bedroom cottages with gardens. Units are available for rent or to buy depending on what you are looking for. There are lovely garden areas to walk through and pergola to relax in. There is a communal dining room which provides daily nutritious meals with a very flexible compulsory plan that will suit any needs. A small library is available with books, DvDs, videos, puzzles and more. The social groups available are poetry reading, Bridge, games, carpet bowls, arts and crafts and keep fit. Residents are welcome to come for happy hour in the pub on Friday evenings.
A combi takes residents to the Bayside Centre once a week at a nominal charge. Security is very good with electric fencing and 24 hour security guards.
