Welcome to Bonheur Care Centre – Cape Town Frail Care.  We are situated within the centrally-located Fontaine Bleau Retirement Village. Providing a warm, friendly atmosphere is one of our main goals as well as accommodating each resident’s personal needs. In order to provide the best possible care to our residents, our Frail Care Center’s staff exhibit self-respect and dignity. 

We strive to ensure each resident is treated with the utmost respect and care. Senior living is meant to be enjoyed to the fullest. Under the careful watch of our highly trained, professional nurses, caregivers and services team, residents are encouraged to live an active, social and adventurous lifestyle.  

For those suffering with dementia, we are able to provide specialised care once they have been assessed by medical professionals. Additionally, we also offer respite (short term) and terminal care for those needing more intensive support during difficult times.  

We offer  24-hour care assisting residents with all their daily-living activities. Residents who needs continuous supervision day and night. Dementia care is available, but residents need to be evaluated and be under the treatment of a psychiatrist. Short term care that gives families the opportunity to take a holiday with the peace of mind that their loved one is taken care of in a safe environment.

This is also applicable when the main carer becomes ill or needs an operation, and needs time to recuperate before being able to take care of the frail person again.

End of life care – The purpose of this care is to improve the quality of life for both the patient and family in a caring environment to provide peace and comfort for the patient and family.

Assisted living care – this care is available to residents who are still able to stay on their own but needs assistance with some aspects of activities of daily living. (Showering, making of bed, medication etc.)
