Daily activity is encouraged and can take the form of a short walk on the farm or indoor exercises such as chair yoga and other light exercises. This is tailored to a person’s physical ability and preferences. The library has a variety of books to enjoy and we encourage residents to take part in activities such as games, puzzle building, and gardening. Breathing relaxation and mindfulness practices are run at the home by Clinical Psychologist, Susan Haycock.
Respite Care provides short term relief to primary caregivers, giving them time to rest, travel or spend time with other family and friends. The duration of stay is flexible to suit your needs.
