Glenhaven and Haven Retirement Villages

Glenhaven and Haven Retirement Villages Pretoria East are both established and secure retirement facilities offering affordable accommodation.

Our high quality but affordable housing facilities include one, two or three bedroom cottages. There are also a variety of flats to rent which are ideal for the single, elderly citizen.

A fully equipped Care Unit accommodates our frail residents from both Glenhaven and Haven Villages. A weekly clinic is offered with qualified medical personnel in attendance.

Cottages are sold on the basis of Life Rights. Our affordable Life Rights model is most definitely one of the most competitive and beneficial towards the person purchasing a life right in the East of Pretoria.

Both our centres are in close proximity to several shopping centres, and transport is available twice weekly to selected centres as well as by arrangement for medical and other appointments.

Other services on offer are a hairdresser for men and women, a library and a laundry within the Community centre. At both our centres retirement will be affordable, safe and secure.

Parking is plentiful with garages, covered carports as well as visitors parking. Basic gardening services, lawn mowing and edge trimming, are done regularly by gardeners.

Security is in place in the form of restricted access, electric perimeter fencing and twenty-four hour guards. Residents have the added security of personal panic buttons which register the alarm in the Care Unit.

Leisure activities include bingo, Scrabble, needlework; entertainment with refreshments is provided monthly, along with a weekly movie.

The bright and airy Glenhaven dining room, where family and seasonal lunches are offered, opens onto a feature patio and well-tended communal garden with its own sundial and fountain.

Many pathways within the villages, with security lighting throughout at night, provide for a safe place to walk and view the variety of gardens created by residents throughout the villages.

Access to all facilities in both villages is specifically designed for the comfort of the elderly.
