SUMMERFIELD PARK – Methodist Homes for the Aged – is located at 41 Carlton Street, Jukskei Park and offers independent living, individual care and assistance for the aged.

We offer a wide range of daily activities, i.e. Line Dancing, Carpet Bowls, Table Tennis, Rummikub, Bridge, Social braais, Knit & Knatter, Darts, and many more.

There is also a well-stocked library for the resident to make use of, filled with wonderful books, DVD’s and Puzzles.

Summerfield Park also have daily bus trips, that travels to all the different shopping centres in the area.

Accommodation includes rentals (Bedsitters and 1-Bedroom), Life Right purchases (1-Bedroom and 2-Bedroom), single and shared rooms in frail care, single rooms with en-suit bathrooms in mid care and single rooms in dementia.

Included in the rental or levy is cleaning of the units once a week, garden services, refuse collection, security, building insurance, and a panic button that is linked to the care centre in case of an emergency.

Our care centre rates include three nutritious meals daily, laundry services, housekeeping, and 24-hour nursing care.

Summerfield Park also has a Support Care Service for residents living independently, our village nurse calls daily on residents requiring assistance with medication or taking blood pressure etc.

If you are not up to preparing your own meal, your lunch can be ordered from the Kitchen and delivered to your home.
