The Vales, old age home Pennington, is a well established Frail Care and Assisted Living facility situated in the peace and quiet, in a small secure street in the heart of Pennington, KZN South Coast.
Our comfortable and well appointed facility offers residents a homely environment, with a sense of serenity and peace of mind for both resident and families.
The facility is small, with only 26 beds, thus providing competent, compassionate and personalized nursing care, with the importance of dignity for each resident being easily accomplished.
Three meals a day are prepared in our state of the art kitchen by our own excellent cooks providing delicious smells to get the taste buds watering. Tea and coffee available for visiting family and friends all day.
Bathrooms are fitted with all necessary hand grips, shower seats etc. to assure easy handling and without any danger of falling to the resident.
Security of our residents is of paramount importance, the entire perimeter is electric fencing and monitored by CCTV cameras.
Lovely gardens with a variety of birdlife and song, walkways and sitting areas for relaxing.
Accommodation is on a monthly tariff. Full Frail Care with only medication, diapers and toiletries being excluded from the monthly tariff.
We welcome all age related disorders including Alzheimer’s and Dementia.
Support and interaction is given not only to the resident but also the family members, understanding the process of Alzheimer’s /Dementia is a difficult time for all.
