Frail care unit to rent

Light and bright 41sqm frail care unit with South and East facing windows and including a private bathroom available for immediate occupation in our 10 bed Healthcare facility at Summerley Court.

This unit is available at a monthly frailcare levy cost of R40 530 per month.

Our frailcare apartments are situated in a small, peaceful environment with 24-hour care services provided to all residents and easy access to a large garden courtyard for outside exercise or enjoyment.

Included in the frailcare levy of R40 530 per month:

• 24 hour care services provided to the resident
• Care services include, inter alia –blister pack and medicine administration including script renewals, blood pressure testing, dressing and bandaging of wounds, administration of injections and blood glucose measurements.
• Administration of first aid if required.
• All bathing,  dressing, hair and nail care, foot care and oral care needs attended to.
• All mobility needs attended to – walking assistance, turning, transferring in and out of bed, chair and wheelchair.
• 3 meals per day provided and served to the resident, with snacks in between meal times and a liquid diet available upon request or on a needs basis.
• Frequent liaison with resident’s doctor and any other relevant medical professionals regarding treatment and care needs of the resident.
• Communication with resident’s family.
• Housekeeping of apartment, laundering of bed linen and clothing.

The physical and mental health and wellbeing of frailcare residents is of paramount importance to us and residents are treated with the utmost care, respect and dignity. We encourage frailcare residents to entertain, visit with family and friends and participate in group activities within Summerley Court all within the context of a supportive 24-hour care environment. The attentive care provided gives residents the opportunity to focus on living their best lives whilst being assured that their frailcare needs are being attended to and prioritised.
